Linkage Electric manufactures a full series of single-phase overhead-type distribution transformers. Single-phase transformers are available as conventional units (5–333 kVA) or as completely self-protected (CSP 25–167 kVA) models, offered in a wide range of ratings to meet or exceed applicable ANSI® and NEMA® standards. Units designed to comply with Chinese National Standards and Taipower utility service requirements are also available.
CSP transformers feature direct-connected primary arresters and internal primary voltage fuses, which eliminate the need for separately mounted protective devices and help reduce installation and wiring costs. The integrated overcurrent interrupter protects the transformer from damaging overloads and secondary faults, and also serves as a convenient means of switching the transformer “on” or “off” during maintenance or system operations.
Built with high-quality CRGO silicon steel or amorphous ribbon cores, these transformers offer reduced core losses and improved long-term efficiency. Robust tank coating systems exceed IEEE Std. C57.12.31™-2010 requirements, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability in demanding outdoor environments.
